The garage can take my car on Monday, so I just have to be super-careful over the weekend.

The haar is hanging on ... misty moisty and chilly today. Last night it lifted slightly, so that you could see the bottoms of the bridges but not the tops. Very, very strange effect. The road bridge pylons have red flashing lights on top, but you couldn't see them at all or the suspension cables, just the curve of the roadway. Floodlighting combined with the fog make the rail bridge look totally weird, a truncated red basketwork, reflected in the water. The visual effects were enhanced because otherwise it seemed a normal cloudy night -- you couldn't tell there was fog until you looked at the bridges.

As the weather's so dismal I'm going to work on my website today.
