Only an hour and a half to go and I'm on holiday, whew. I've been looking longingly at the OS map and printing out walking guides. There are cliff walks around the Coigeach peninsula apparently --- you can go all the way round.

My Argentine boss gave me a tape of gaucho music yesterday (Jose Larralde) and I listened to it on the way home and in to work today. It's wonderful, sad and passionate, with acoustic guitar backing, but makes me feel oddly happy. Cowboy music is the same the world over -- though I think the gauchos are a bit more poetical than Hank Wangford. On the other side is a woman singer, Mercedes Sosa. She has a fabulous voice too, sings jazzy Latin political ballads.
