I spent an hour -- one whole hour -- this afternoon rescanning two photos. It didn't take me that long to just scan them, it took me that long to find the originals, then to browse through the rest of the photos in the three albums and two shoe boxes I found them in, and to roughly sort out another two piles of photos and postcards lying around loose. I have mountains and mountains of photographs and I really need to do something about them -- I do like looking through them and I don't want to throw them out. The ideal would be to scan them all in I guess, but that would take forever.
Thank goodness for my digital camera. A bulging hard drive is much less messy than shoe boxes.
Some sad news: one of Chad and Leslie's huskies, Cheena, has cancer. She's over 12, so I guess she's had a good innings, but it's still awful for them to contemplate losing a dog they've had so long.
