The builder came this afternoon and after a bit of tooth-sucking over the non-standard size of the doors, said he could get a couple of fire doors and cut them down. They''ll be completely flat and plain, so they won't look as nice as the originals did when new. They'll do the job, though, so I'm not fussed. He's going to quote me for new locks as well -- I figure I might as well have locks on them. If he gets everything organised and the quote is ok by me, they'll be done some time the coming week. Yippee!!
