Today a friend said: "I've been keeping track of you on your website, reading all these things you haven't told me."

But I have told you! That's what this is for!

Tsk.

Anyhoo, the friend in question was Annmaree, over from Australia on a honeymoon-type visit. She and Andrew came for lunch and it was a gorgeous day, hot and sunny.

Tomorrow's shake-down sail in Eraser has been cancelled, which gives me a window of opportunity for some truly creative sloth. Oh, and a chance to mow the lawn, which is growing at an astonishing rate.

I'm beginning to regret, ever so slightly, having had the garden tap disconnected. At the time I thought it was useless because it was at the front; but I could have run a hose through the house to the back garden. Now I'm reduced to filling a watering can at the kitchen sink ... I don't think the tap takes a hose fitting ... and pondering the cost of having the tap reconnected. Mind you, it raises the spectre of another winter flood disaster, so maybe not.
